Who we are

Stationed (milhomings.com) is operated by Milhousing (the "Seller"), as further identified in our Terms of Service. Milhousing acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the Service.

What we collect and why

Account data — email address, display name, sign-in credentials. Used to create and secure your account.
Verification data — your .mil email address. Used to confirm active military affiliation. Stored in a private, restricted table and never displayed to other members.
Profile data — rank, current and incoming unit, current and new installation, report and requested move-in dates. Used to personalize the feed and surface relevant listings.
Listings and messages — content you post, including photos, videos, descriptions, and direct messages. Used to provide the Service.
Apartment reviews — ratings and written experiences.
Usage and device data — IP address, browser, device identifiers, basic telemetry. Used for security, fraud prevention, and to improve the Service.

Legal basis

We process personal data on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (operating the Service), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), your consent (where required for optional features), and legal obligations.

Who we share with

Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for processing payments, managing subscriptions, tax compliance, invoicing, and handling refund requests.
Hosting and infrastructure providers that store data and serve the application.
Other members, but only the profile and content you choose to make visible (e.g. listing details, public display name).
Authorities, where required by law.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the in-app messaging feature.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and row-level access controls in our database, to protect your personal data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies required to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
